ProcessVue Guardian integrates a master alarm database and change management functionality into a single application. This integration facilitates alarm rationalization and documentation activities in a fully collaborative work environment, with productivity tools reducing project time and effort. An Alarm Response Manual as set out in the ISA-18.2 Alarm Management Standards is built and maintained to enable safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
ProcessVue Guardian allows concurrent users to configure the master alarm database in the first instance or document the alarm configurations for compliance purposes, saving many hours compared to traditional methods without risking double changes.
ProcessVue’s AVEVA System Platform Configuration Extract Utility allows for quick and easy configuration of the master alarm database. Further integration with CONNECT data services (AVEVA™ Data Hub) enables users to share “as approved” alarm set points for comparison with real-time alarm data streams.
