This error may occur when moving a page:
Error Message:
The page is the source root of a launch and the launch will become orphan after this action. The move operation is denied.
If it does, then action as follows:
- Create a new page in the correct folder with the correct filename in language-masters.
(Do not try to copy the current page and change the hosting folder and filename to save time because copying the page also copies the error unfortunately.) - Copy all of the Page Properties content and components into the new page.
- Unpublish and delete the Live Copy.
- Rollout new language-masters page to Live Copy.
- Publish the new Live Copy.
- Create a redirect from previous page URL to new page URL.
