Partnership with Ingeloop brings new BIM capabilities to AVEVA E3D Design

AVEVA is excited to announce a new partnership with French company Ingeloop.

Ingeloop develops a range of specialized software for industrial building information modelling (BIM). Particularly exciting for AVEVA is Ingeloop’s BCFNode tool, which works directly with our 3D design tools to create and manage BCF (issue) communications seamlessly across teams.

The BCF (BIM Collaboration Format) standard, is an open, vendor-neutral file format that facilities communication and issue resolution in BIM projects. Developed by buildingSMART, an international organization acting as the authority for a set of standards known as the Industry Foundation Class (IFC). Project teams use the BCF format to exchange information about issues, clashes, and changes between different stakeholders involved in a BIM project.

Ingeloop’s BCFNode tools enable you and your teams to interact with your 3D model and its elements, including, but not limited to the following functionalities:

• Create viewpoints from your current 3D model
• Link elements from your 3D model to issues that you raise
• Easily navigate to the elements associated with raised issues
