Bayer's industrial team will present their transformative journey with AVEVA PI System solutions extended with TrendMiner, demonstrating how these technologies have enabled them to increase capacity and efficiency for an established production process without any investments and just analyzing the data from the PI System. In this presentation Christiane Billing, Roll-out Lead for TrendMiner at Bayer will discuss the roadmap & roll out of AVEVA PI System and TrendMiner at Bayer. She will be showcasing how these digital tools have been instrumental in driving efficiency and data-driven decision-making. This is further demonstrated by two use cases, which Christiane will discuss in detail: The Knapsack case, where Bayer utilized the data captured in the AVEVA PI system to the max using TrendMiner’s Industrial AI & Analytics to identifying critical insights, optimizing operations, and reducing costs. The case of optimizing seeds processing, showcasing how predictive analytics and real-time monitoring capabilities have enhanced product quality and operational throughput. This session will illustrate the tangible benefits and future potential of integrating AVEVA’s innovative solutions and TrendMiner within Bayer’s operational framework.

Christiane Billing has spent nine years at Bayer, where she is currently focused on Digital Manufacturing. In this role, she supports global production sites in their digital transformation efforts and leads the rollout of TrendMiner. Prior to her current role, she specialized in knowledge management and transfer, contributing to the success of global functional academies in engineering and pharma. She began her career at Lanxess in engineering, particularly in brownfield projects, where she played a key role in enhancing operational efficiency.
