AVEVA: Seamlessly migrating your legacy E&I and P&ID data to AVEVA Unified Engineering
AVEVA’s Diagrams, Electrical, Instrumentation, and P&ID have been essential standalone products in our engineering and design portfolio for several years. To better serve today’s modern, connected workforce and meet the increasing demands of the industry for holistic engineering, AVEVA has made the strategic decision to integrate all standalone tool capabilities into a unified design solution. By combining their functionalities into AVEVA Unified Engineering, we are providing a central, multi-discipline solution that breaks down disciplinary and technological silos, fostering greater collaboration and efficiency. This integration allows for seamless data flow and enhanced interoperability across different engineering disciplines, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the most up-to-date information. To facilitate a smooth transition from the standalone tools to this unified multidisciplinary holistic solution, our teams have developed a comprehensive migration strategy.
