Chris is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in the power industry, beginning with work for an electrical contractor on city infrastructure and commercial projects. His career includes 6.5 years as a lineman for Burbank Water & Power constructing and maintaining the distribution and sub transmission system, 8 years as a substation electrician involved in substation upgrades and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) construction, and over 16 years as a NERC certified power system operator at the Energy Control Center. Chris ensures real-time energy supply, manages outages, and performs field switching while developing ADMS and PI screens for operational efficiency. His contributions include SCADA upgrades, substation modernization, and GIS integration, driven by a commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and expertise in both traditional and modern electrical systems.
